Unitary Leadership vs Leadership teams
Managing the Family Business: It Takes a Village
This is an article that questions which is the better system to lead a family business. The article uses a Brazilian family business as an example that has achieved success by using one of the models effectively. The article debates that if any of the two models were to be implemented correctly and the leaders of the business pay attention to the rest of the family or any other owners then the business would be successful. At the moment Unitary leadership is dominating most family businesses ruling systems but could choosing two or three people to lead different parts of the system be more effective?
